My Journey to the Light – Victory over Depression
By Dr. Adele Frisby-Lowe

My journey to the light, - victory over depression - breaks the silence on the taboo subject of depression. Written by a psychologist, this book is not a psychological textbook, but a personal account of a woman who lost everything she held dear to depression and yet had come through it to reclaim her life. It's an inspirational story that brings hope to sufferers and their families that depression can be beaten.

Written from a Christian perspective, it dispels myths like Christians shouldn't be depressed or take antidepressants. Filled with Scripture quotes and examples of God's intervention in her life, her story highlights the importance of having faith in God in overcoming depression.

Dr. Adele Frisby-Lowe is an active Support Group leader for the South African Depression and Anxiety Group. It is available at all leading book stores, for R120, and is published by Corals. Please contact Dr. Adele Frisby-Lowe on 016 428 4846 or 082 450 3955 if you are having problems finding the book.
