Following the high success of Teen Suicide Prevention Week, SADAG can now report that audited figures show their total media coverage for February 2017 was R28 618 472!!!
This was broken down as follows:
Print - R9 744 923
Broadcast - R12 130 264
Online - R5 743 286
Now ask yourself. What kind of editorial coverage does your company get? Can you imagine if your name was associated with this amazing organisation. You too could share in the spin-off from this result.
The reality however is that the more successful SADAG becomes the harder it is for them to keep going. For every article or broadcast out there hundreds of people phone in and sadly, with no telecoms company coming to the party, SADAG still pays for every call costing them in the region of R70,000 per month.
There has to be a company out there who would want to benefit from this much media exposure, plus linking their name to one of the most effective and productive non-profit organisations in this country.
For emergency help for yourself call the Suicide Crisis Helpline, open 7 days a week on 0800 567 567. If you want to help SADAG please call Cassey Chambers or Tracy Feinstein 011 234 4837.
