cape town walk sept 2017

This is an invitation to please join us as we walk to celebrate RECOVERY in Cape Town.

Recovery Walks aim to raise awareness and to celebrate recovery from alcoholism, addiction in it’s various forms and mental health concerns. It is an opportunity for anyone in recovery and for family and friends to announce their individual and collective presence. It is an opportunity for anyone who works in the field of addiction treatment, recovery and mental health concerns to join in and celebrate together to show that we do recover. Recovery makes South Africa stronger.
If you, as an individual, or as part of a group or organisation are involved with or work with alcoholism, addiction in all its forms, and mental health concerns we encourage you to please bring your banners and posters and fly them proudly as we walk to celebrate RECOVERY! The Recovery Walk in Cape Town is completely free and open to the public. Everyone whose life has been touched by addiction or recovery is invited to join our celebration. Friends, family, caregivers and professionals – All are welcome.
