On 12 September 2026, Jean-Paul Bigaignon and Dario Mumenthaler will take on the Mont aux Sources 50km Ultra Trail in the Drakensberg. This will be their first ultra marathon, taking them through challenging climbs, steep descents and altitudes of around 3,000 metres.

While this is a personal physical challenge, Jean-Paul and Dario are using the experience to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health support in Mauritius, Switzerland and South Africa.

In South Africa, their fundraising will support SADAG and our work supporting people experiencing Mental Health challenges, including anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed and Suicide.

Through our 24/7 Toll-Free Helplines, trained Volunteer Counsellors, Support Groups and Mental Health outreach programmes, SADAG provides support, information and resources to people and families across South Africa.

This challenge is a reminder that we all face our own challenges and that no one should have to face them alone.

To support this challenge, donate and help Jean-Paul and Dario go the distance for Mental Health.

Can't donate? Share the campaign and help spread awareness.
